During this time the Deeper Life campers will be leading the Pathfinders Campers in games, lessons, and all other activities. From 5 pm through their bedtime, they will have time to debrief the day and prepare for the lessons and activities for the next day. This is a great opportunity for teens that enjoy combining their love of summer camp and Biblical lessons with elementary age kids.

Dean: Jay Hardison
Plymouth Church of Christ
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
–Matthew 5:13-16
Salt and light. Influence. Impact.
Jesus said that’s what we are. Notice that he didn’t give a starting age or a timeframe. He just said we’re supposed to be salt and light. That means that all of us, regardless of age, can impact the world we live in. All of us can make a difference.
That’s particularly true of young people. They can influence their schools, homes, ball teams, friends, families, and the world at large. They can make an eternal difference. They can change the world.
At First Junior week, we’ll look at what it means to be strong salt and bright light in our world. We’ll equip and encourage our campers to influence their world for Jesus. We’ll have fun, play game, and be prepared to change the world for Jesus.
Campers will check in on Sunday at 4pm and stay through Friday at 11am. Each day is packed with exciting activities like swimming, games, and crafts, along with meaningful bible lessons and worship.

through it all.
Students will be separated into teams primarily based on gender and grade. This will be your “team.” You will have opportunities to compete against other teams in games and also get to share in some learning time together. However there is also AMPLE free time to socialize with all of the other campers throughout the day.
In addition to the daily scheduled fun, We create 4 distinctly different learning environments each day that will help grow our students in faith and understanding:- Team Time: After breakfast, Students will meet with their team and leaders to work through scripture each day. It’s a practical tool they can bring home with them and use daily!
- Morning Workshop: Mid morning will be an opportunity for an elective class. We have a great group of teachers who will be leading us in a morning workshop covering a variety of subjects.
- Vespers: After spending the majority of the day in the “fun” stuff, we re-group in the evening for a group worship time and teaching time.
- Campfire: Before we turn in for the night, the whole camp gathers one last time for “campfire.” Each night one of our staff members shares their testimony of how God has moved in their life. It is powerful for our students to hear from so many of the staff they look up to.
Each year, our goal is to send our students home ready to make their world a better place in Jesus’ name. We pay special honor to our Seniors on Senior night (Thursday) and encourage all of our students to attend as many summers as possible while they are in these formative High School years.
